The Ovarian Cancer Society Malaysia (OCSM), together with Breakfree Movement and the ROAM (Returning Ovarian Cancer Survivors to Activities of Daily Living through Movement) programme, is proud to participate in the Putrajaya International Dragon Boat Race 2026.

On 19 July 2026, Team OCSM will take to the waters of Putrajaya to represent not only ovarian cancer survivors and thrivers, but also the spirit of resilience, courage, and hope that defines our community.

For many of our members, the journey through ovarian cancer has involved surgeries, chemotherapy, targeted therapies, clinical trials, and numerous challenges. Through the support of OCSM and the ROAM programme, survivors have discovered the transformative power of movement and exercise in rebuilding strength, confidence, and quality of life.

Dragon boating is more than a sport. It embodies teamwork, trust, perseverance, and determination—qualities that resonate deeply with every cancer survivor.

Every stroke of the paddle represents the courage of women who continue to move forward despite adversity.
